OxPal wins the Lancet Psychiatry Poster Prize
Presenting at the Mental Health Conference: A Global Focus event in Green Templeton College in the University of Oxford, the OxPal team spoke about the exciting progress the partnership has made in undergraduate and postgraduate psychiatric teaching in Palestine. The presentation (‘The role of distance-learning partnerships in building local undergraduate and postgraduate psychiatry capacity in resource-poor contexts’) was given by Claudia Snudden, an academic coordinator in OxPal.
Organised by the Richard Doll Society and the Oxford Global Health Group, the conference was open to all interested in psychiatry and global health and took place on 1st November. The OxPal entry was awarded the inaugural Lancet Psychiatry Poster Prize.
